Remember your Momma telling you to “play nice”?
Well, nothing has changed. 3D Archery is a sport… a game. Yup, I said it… it’s a game… to be enjoyed and shared with those who also share your love of the sport.
So, … now for the reminders, and they go like this –
1) Cheating!
It’s already been done, and it’s easy to do, but WHY – you’ll just be cheating yourself?
If you’re caught cheating, or you’re found to be unsafe to others on the course,
the TBA officers reserve the right to ask you to leave immediately, and NOT RETURN.
2) PLEASE BE FAIR to others…
If you’re shooting for score, competition, or trophies … If you’re shooting with friends, or family members – *** This is a just another way to show your kids that practice really does pay off, and things aren’t just given to them. |
If you’re in doubt about scoring a target… ask a club member, or TBA officer for assistance.
|
3) If you’re in a bad mood, stay at home.
If you’re having a bad day on the course… please keep your overall attitude in check. After all… this is game for some, and hunting practice for others!
This club is for folks, and families (some with young children)
who want to be outside for a few hours, and hopefully meet some new friends,
and share some laughs (and yes, maybe even at ourselves).
4) We have families with little ones out on the course.
Think SAFETY, SAFETY, and SAFETY all the time.
5) While on the course, don’t take short cuts from one target to the next.
You may be walking right into the shooting lane of another shooter!
Think SAFETY, SAFETY, and SAFETY all the time.
6) Keep your language civilized.
This club is for new and old friends, and for families who wish to make ARCHERY a family sport.
So, …
Have fun, meet folks, and bring lots of arrows!
Wise man once said,
“Archery “ is seeing how far you can get away from the target and still hit it correctly,
whereas, “Bow hunting” is getting as close to the target as possible and not miss.
